Montgomery Book Exchange at 13 Union Street, Montgomery, New York.

The prices are very reasonable, the person working there when I went in was very helpful. I didn't really like the atmosphere, though. Before coming in, there was a box with books haphazardly tossed into it. They looked really disrespected, and it was sad to see. The space inside was cramped and the music wasn't conducive to relaxing — if anything, it just distracted me. I'd say that this is a place I'd dip in for five, ten minutes if I were looking for something. But, it's not a place I'd hang out. As a note, parking is along the street. There are parking lots around, but the ones I saw had signs specifically outlining their use for employees and customers of those businesses. Just be careful if you're from out of town and don't want to get your car towed. (Rating: 3.5 stars rounded up to 4)
